Happy Thursday, y'all!
Thursday is one of my favourite days of the week for a few reasons... firstly, it is a great day to get together with friends after work because it isn't as busy as Friday but still has a good vibe, secondly, it is Friday eve, thirdly, Spotify has throwback playlists, and fourthly, it is the most stylish day of the week. Ok, I made the last one up, every day of the week is the most stylish, but the rest are cold, hard facts. :)
Because it has been a while, I am going to give you a list of a few of my favourite things, and by a few, I mean ten. Ten things that I think you need to check out!
Here we go...

- I am obsessed with American designer, Steven Alan. His heritage-inspired collections are easy-wearing, comfortable and stylish. His optical line is equally cool, which is why these sunglasses have made the list.

- Saturdays Surf crew neck pullover.
- Saturdays Surf is another brand I love... and by love, I mean LOVE. Not only do they have a really, really cool surf shop/coffee bar in SoHo NYC (with a hidden gem of a back patio area) their clothing line is equally awesome. I like this sweater because it has colourful speckled detailing, making it different than your standard pullover sweater. It also has matching jogger pants, if you're brave enough.

- I don't know where I've been, or where they have been all my life, BUT you know what they say, it is better late than never. I have developed a recent obsession with Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel - together they are amazing and apart, Paul Simon alone will put you in a happy dance mood. Pull a few of their songs for your next party playlist and your guests will thank you!

- Everlane is a new(ish) brand that is taking simplicity to a new level. Their quality clothing is affordable, simple and of good quality. They are transparent with their manufacturing, providing a list of the factories they use, complete with descriptions and images, on their website, and they source and design everything in house, cutting out unnecessary middlemen.

- These boots are a nice alternative to the traditional Doc Martens. They are less bulky and can be easily paired with jeans or chinos.

- This lotion is quickly absorbed, made of quality ingredients and smells great. Swap it with your standard drugstore lotion and you will add a touch of luxury to your morning routine.

- Pendelton for Brooks Brothers plaid button-up.
- I'm a big fan of anything Pendleton - the brand's heritage-inspired, classic pieces are great for Canadian falls and winters. This shirt looks awesome on its own but also can be used as a layering piece - under a jacket on cold days or over a shirt and without a jacket for the chinook days.

- Portland General Store for Club Monaco whiskey shave puck.
- What man doesn't like the smell of whiskey on his face? I'd argue, none. This shave puck is perfect to use with a shave brush - just keep it in a dish on the bathroom counter, swirl your brush in it to create foam and lather it on your face.
